Trying to plan a long labor day weekend

My boyfriend and I are trying to plan a long labor day weekend in MB and are having trouble choosing a hotel. We want something on the ';strip'; close to attractions and restaurants but still has nice accomodations. Hard to tell what are more ';family'; places or okay for young couples(we%26#39;re both 25). Any suggestions/guidance would me much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I would take a look at the Breakers Resort (Paradise Tower)....nice place, close to the downtown area, youre right on the strip...approx 10 blocks to the Pavilion...and you are right at the 21st Ave N Corridor area....a number of places to eat here, plus some late night spots too...and a Starbucks. Plus you have my fav beach bar right next door, Bummz!

That%26#39;s where we are staying. It%26#39;s a nice place and you will like the area. It%26#39;s not on the crowded end of the strip but just a few blocks to walk and you are right there and there are some nice restaurants right there.

There are kids at the hotel but it won%26#39;t feel like a ';family'; resort. Young couples I saw all over last year. They have a cute little bar area that has like karaoke /sp/ and drinks and all little type stuff.
