Heading to Myrtle beach next week and wondering how the ocean temp is. We have always gone the 2nd week of July and enjoyed swimming. Hoping it is warm now also.Although visiting from the northeast just about anything will feel warm!!

While we were there last week we never did find out the temp. of the ocean, but it was warm and nice. I think you%26#39;ll be happy with the MB ocean compared to say New Jersey ocean water.
The ocean temp today was 79. If you go to wpde.com (our local news), click on weather then on beach forecast, it will give you the ocean temp, sunrise/sunset times and what time high tide and low tide is. It is a very helpful website if you are planning a beach trip. Have a great vacation!

JLF - I%26#39;m jealous! Went to the beach this weekend (ma/nh line) and yes the water felt to be about 50! Kept telling myself 4 more weeks then I can really enjoy the ocean! Enjoy!!!
Just back yesterday and I am ready to go back!!!!
Had a great week and the ocean temp was wonderful.Not even a pause to get wet.Enjoyed the warm water and surf. Now back to the cold MA water.
