Mini-Golf?

Hello! My husband and I are traveling to Charleston next week and was wondering if there are any mini golf courses on Isle of Palms or Folly Beach? We like the go-kart/mini-golf scene (really only on vacation) and wasn%26#39;t sure if there was anything like this.

Of course we are going to check out downtown, the Audobon Gardens/Swamp and the beach, but didn%26#39;t know about the nighttime, non-bar scene.

Thanks!

Mini-Golf?

I don%26#39;t believe there are any of these places on either of the beaches you mention.

The only place I know of is Frankie%26#39;s Fun Park, which is about a 25 minute drive in non-rush hour traffic. They have a double-sided mini golf course, batting cages, two go-kart tracks (oval and road course), a big gaming room, and some other stuff.

Franie%26#39;s is a bit of a drive, but worth it if you like that kind of stuff. Which I do!

Mini-Golf?

There is a also a small mini-golf (only not go-carts, etc) at the edge of Mt. Pleasant just before going over the bridge to Sullivan%26#39;s Island. I think it is called Classic Golf.

Thanks very much! Think we%26#39;ll check out the small mini-golf place. Has been a vacation tradition :) That other place sounds cool but don%26#39;t love the drive with gas so freakin expensive. Thanks again for your help!

FWIW, we took our Sunday School kids to the one in Mt. Pleasant a few years ago and it was a dump. Hopefully it has gotten better since then.

If you do go, there is a antique place right across the street called Page%26#39;s Thieves Market. Very low key place; not your average Charleston hoidy-toidy antique joint.

Also across the street is Momma Brown%26#39;s barbeque - an excellent barbeque restaurant! I highly recommend it; it%26#39;s a lot better than that old western N.C. barbeque.

just kidding!!
