Pelican's Watch Condo & things to do

Will be staying at a condo at Pelican%26#39;s Watch , 9570 Shore Dr., Myrtle Beach. Have 3 children ages 3,5,7 yrs. Are there things to do within walking distance %26amp; places to eat, or must we drive to anything we want to do.

Also, any good, inexpensive places to eat near the Pelican%26#39;t Watch?

There are a few little shops not too far from Pelicans Watch in what they call the Straw Market...I think there is still a place to get ice cream there too.....of course if you head to the south from the condo you have River City Cafe and Ocean Annies...there is also an Ultimate California Pizza in the Sands, and just up Lake Arrowhead Road is Finn McCools...decent food, cold beers.

Thanks MBC.

Are there fire works every evening? How about bands on the beach? or any entertainment on the beach. Or is that further South at Myrtle beach?

Even tho%26#39; personal fireworks are illegal along the beach, you do see a number of private shows....as for public displays, nothing along the beach front in that area....Myrtle Beach does do fireworks on Wednesdays at 2nd Ave Pier, and you can probably see them from the beach there...Barefoot Landing which isnt far from there does their display on Mondays (and I think they just added Thursdays ?), and I know from the beach at 67th Ave N in MB we can see that display...

Ocean Annies, which is on the beach just south of Pelicans Watch usually has live music....not sure of any other live music in that area...along the beachfront anyway.

Have a great time!
