Coupons, Myrtle Beach VIP card

There seems to be many websites that have coupons for various activities, restaurants, etc. for Myrtle Beach. There is also a VIP card you can buy for $10. Two questions. 1) Does anyone have a good website that has coupons and 2) is the VIP card worth the $10. Thanks.

I%26#39;m sure there is some website out there somewhere that has wonderful coupons...you will also find most of those same coupons at the concierge desk where you will be staying, or at one of the many kiosks along the Grand Strand.

As for the VIP card, it doesnt look like a bad deal...and there are a number of decent restaurants that do offer a pretty good discount (one of my favs if one there, The Palms)...as for the discounts at the clubs, all of those types of ';free'; passes are available (again) at the concierge desks, as well as some of the restaurant and attraction coupons. You may want to check our local paper, The Sun News, when you get into town, they usually have a number of coupons in there too.

I purchased the VIP card ($11.05 with shipping) and found it not be worth it - except for when we got massages at Dawn%26#39;s Centre for Massage - we saved $10 each off our packages.

Coupons for pretty much every restaurant, club, mini-golf, etc that the VIP card offers discounts for can be found in hotels, restaurants, gas stations and the cab drivers also carry free passes for clubs. Had we not got the massages the card would have not been worth it at all. I%26#39;d stick with just the coupons that you can find for free - you%26#39;ll save money and not have to pay $10+ in advance!

We thought the VIP card was a very nice thing to have. I do agree with the above post that most of the things that the card provides discounts for can be found with coupons ,I found it much eaiser to just have the card with me instead of cutting coupons and then always either completely forgetting them in the room or the car or just fumbling through them in my purse to find the right one I needed. And once used a couple of times we had our money back. Its good for one year after purchase so when it was time to leave we gave ours to some folks just starting their vacation! Hope this helped.

Tip/suggestion I%26#39;ve always made but never followed myself is to get two of each coupon book. One for condo and one for car. It never fails. Get to attraction or restuarant.

';Oh! We have a coupon for this!';

';OK. Where is it?';

'; Back at the condo on kitchen table.';

The best way to get coupons is to stop by any of the tourist centers in MB and also most hotels have a stand usually located by the elevator or the check-in counter with lots of coupons for restaurants, water parks, amusements, etc.

Since you have to buy the VIP card for $10.00, check to see if you are even going to go to the places that accept the VIP card. You don%26#39;t want to get the VIP card for $10.00 and you only use it once for $2.00 off of a meal that was $25.00. Gather all of the free coupons you can also, this helps just as much.

DC Lady, that was a very courteous thing to do with the card. Since you aren%26#39;t coming back in 1 year, why waste it, giving is not considered waisting when someone else could use. Thumbs up to you. I do agree that coupons can be a bother cutting and tyring to keep hold of. The card would be easier to carry.

Pop... you must be related to me..

the thing with coupons.. and store lists...

i just looked at the VIP card website. it states with the card you get 10.75 off adult admission to wild water and also 10.75 per adult to grand prix. This sounds to good to be true. Have anyone of you used this card at either attraction? Still undecided as to get the card or not. Thanks
