Can anyone recommend a fun beach front bar in MB? I%26#39;m not looking for a night/dance club. Just looking for a bar on the beach to have a few drinks and feel the ocean breeze. (some live music wouldn%26#39;t be bad either). Any suggestions?

Ditto on Bummz...one of my favs, decent food, cold drinks, good music...and its like being at someones house!
Another is a great locals hangout, with live music on Wed and Sun...called St Clements....Luke and his staff are great! They are located at the Caravelle about 73rd ave N.

MBConcierge - I will be staying near 10th Ave. South. How far away is Bummz from there? Within walking distance?

Bummz is located at 20 Ave N...and you are more to the south end at 10th Ave S...it is walkable, but you may need a few beers by the time you get there! lol If I were you, I%26#39;d catch the bus, it goes right down Ocean Blvd and will stop right in front of Bummz....you could wak up the beach, would probably be about 4 miles, and catch the%26#39;bus back! Enjoy! It is a great place! I LOVE the blackened grouper salad there! YUM! And the Ribs!

Hi, could you tell me where is Bummz is located from The Hampton Inn Oceanfront??? Is this some where you could eat with children and then they play on the beach after?
Tues/June 27th stopped at Bummz at 3pm for the first time for a quick lunch before heading to the ariport and home.Sat outside and enjoyed the beachfront view. very casual. had the grilled grouper salad,the grouper was delicious.My husband had the grouper fingers and the new england clam chowder. both good.
When do they have music? Both thought it would be nice there at night with the tiki torches lit and music playing. will just have to go back.
