Traffic driving in to Hilton Head on Saturdays is terrible. Can anyone tell me what the best time of day is to arrive on a Saturday or if there is an alternate driving route?
I know that most rentals are Saturday to Saturday which is why this is such a problem. We are thinking of staying in Savannah on Friday night and arriving 1st thing Saturday morning but I%26#39;m not sure if that will even help. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

If you get onto 278 past Sun City before noon, you should have no trouble at all.

I agree with Stan. When I go on Saturday, I get on the island early %26amp; just go to the beach or shop etc until you can get into where you are staying. After that, be prepared to wait in traffic.
