Anniversary Dinner
Look at the Restaurant list on inside Hilton Head

Several of the restaurants have small intimate rooms. I would consider Alexanders, Frankie Bones, Jaxx, Le Normandie, Il Carpaccio.
Also off island the Wine room at the Inn at Palmetto Bluff.
In Savannah - Elizabeth at 37th. This is a Michelin star rated restaurant, however you will need several days for a reservation.

Anniversary Dinner
Hi There, We just returned from HHI.
We celebrated our anniversary aboard the ';Palmetto Star';
out of Shelter Cove Harbor. It%26#39;s a dinner cruise with lovely
linen table covers, wine choices, cocktails, etc. We had the steak/lobster. The appetizers, salads, main course, desserts,
were very good. There%26#39;s dining on two decks, both indoor dining rooms. Every table has a lovely view through large windows.
Each table seats 6-8. The crew is in uniform and very professional.
It%26#39;s just a nice sized ship. More like a private yacht rather than one
of the much too large sightseeing boats with too many people.
The ship goes through Harbor Town and in time for the great sunset and a view of The Lighthouse in Sea Pines. We saw
dolphins up close and waiting for the leftovers from a shrimp
boat. We viewed many other areas from all around the island .
At times we went outside the dining room on deck and it was
so much fun.
People were dressed in various styles, but no one was in formal
attire. The women in some summer casual style long/short dresses, pants suits, white capris and tops. Men were in casual dressy slacks or khakis and polo shirts or open-necked dress shirts. There were a few boys in shorts and tops and little girls in sun dresses. There was only a total of 4-6 children.
The waiter asks if its a special occasion and will announce it.
All in all it was lovely. You board at 6:30p.m. and leave at 7p.m. It takes about three hours. When you get back there are other restaurants and bars around within walking distance for a nightcap, or for just taking a leisurely stroll around the beautiful harbor with various luxury boats tied up.
The price is so reasonable. It%26#39;s about $69.00 per person for the meal and cruise. If you look in the little magazine; Island Events.
(it is at all the stores and restaurants and outside them --there are coupon offers for a discount such as $5 off or such.)
There%26#39;s another dinner cruise from sea Pines Harbor that goes to Savannah. It also has a good reputation. Bon Voyage!
p.s. There was not enough motion to cause nausea. But if you are concerned then take a fruit-flavored Bonine tablet 1 hour before boarding. It doesn%26#39;t cause drowsiness as Dramamine does.
It works every time.
