We just came back from staying a week in Myrtle Beach. There are so many things to do there and so many placed to eat. We went to Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach (my son enjoyed the amusement rides and the fish), Alligator Adventure, Nascar Speedpark, and Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium.
The restaurants we ate at were: The Great American Steak %26amp; Buffet (was absolutely wonderful and inexpensive compared to the rest of our meals), Original Benjamins Calabash Buffet (great crab legs and fish, but I was disapointed with the dessert I had), The Hard Rock Cafe (great experience and the BBQ sandwich was good), Lawry%26#39;s Seafood (great shrimp and crab cakes), Sam%26#39;s Corner (great place for hot dogs and sandwiches), and Burro Loco (was average for Mexican, because I prefer authenic Mexican).
We stayed at Grande Shores and had a wonderful experience. The staff was great (especially housekeeping), the amenities were awesome, and I loved being right on the beach. The only thing I didn%26#39;t like about the room was the bathroom was small and the closet was not enclosed. I would definately recommend for the price.

Great to hear that you had a wonderful time! Next time in town, if you want some great Mexican food, try Fiesta Mexicana...and its not far from Grande Shores, about 4 blocks south of Sam%26#39;s Corner, there at 71st Ave N and Kings Hwy. Great food, wonderful staff, a delicious Margaritas!

Thanks. We saw Fiesta Mexicana, but tried Buro Loco because it was on the ';best of the best'; list. Now I wish I had gone there.
