Looking for a nice place to stay, just me and my husband. Plan on doing ALOT of golfing and laying by the pool. I would like to be in the Southern end toward Murrells Inlet and on the ocean. Any recommendations?

I%26#39;ve heard that the Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort was nice. They have their own golf course. You can stay either on the beach, on the fairway or near the pool areas. They have villas, condos, hotel rooms. It%26#39;s on Pawleys Island

Hello Bergenfield. When are you going down? Im from Sayreville and will be down the 1st two weeks in July and the middle 2 in August.
I also would try the section of Myrtle between 50th and 79th as it is a great central location for both the Northern and Southern courses.Pine Lakes,Grande Dunes, and Myrtlewood are all within 4 miles or less.
You might want to check out the Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach. It%26#39;s right on the ocean and was remodled in 2005. The Tripadvisor reviews (under Surfside Beach) are positive. I hope it%26#39;s a decent place since my husband and I will be staying there July 2-5.
We have stayed at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront on south Myrtle Beach. It is a nice clean place with a free breakfast that pretty good but it%26#39;s hard to get last minute reservations there as they are often booked.
