Compass Cove in July

Is anyone staying at the Compass Cove during July with the 30% discount? I%26#39;m not sure that they took the discount off of my final payment and was just curious as to what the rates are with and without it.

How much did you pay for the 3 bedroom?

(I am sure it was around $400.00 a night)

Discount, holy cripes! 1600.00 bucks! I got oceanfront with a kitchen in July for 89.00 a night! Seven nights for 623.00! $1600 is more than I gave for the downpayment for my new van! That%26#39;s a lot of money, hope it%26#39;s worth it. You can get a two bedroom, three double bed with a kitchen, oceanfront in south myrtle for 99.00 a night, and clean rooms from the posts I have read here on this forum. I can%26#39;t imagine spending that much on a place to sleep.

Where are you staying? That rate is for 9 nights July 4th week. The rate has increased since I booked. I just usually stay here and pay the price because we have stayed at Compass Cove since my kids were small and have such fond memories. (They are 18 %26amp; 21 and don%26#39;t care to vacation with parents anymore)

JenLO, I guess they%26#39;re right. I thought that I had booke it at something just under $200 per night but I found some scribbled notes and it works out the same. Oh well, not a big deal.

Sorry, it comes to $273 per night for the room plus tax.

I%26#39;m at the Carnival Motor Inn oceanfront at 2502 Ocean Blvd, for this trip July 9-16, and it was 89.00 a night, private balcony, oceanfront, pool, hot tub, kitchen, laundry on site, a lawn with umbellas, tables and chairs on the beach side. Never stayed at this particular hotel, but sounds good to me! The gazebo inn at 1607 South Ocean Blvd was 99.00 a night for same amenities, no lawn, but I have had good stays there, no complaints. There is a post in the forums from June 21st on the Southern Breeze and the Twilight Surf Motel and the review for comfort and cleanliness were very good. These are also 99.00 a night for the same dates July 9-16, and have 3 double beds with two seperate bedrooms, oceanfront with kitchen.
